The picture is of a path in the fall, with leading lines leading the view out of the picture. The picture uses a Medium shot to make environment around the path evident to the viewer. Its clear that its fall, so that is what I think the topic is. The theme seems to be paths leading to unknown destinations and that fall brings that about... The use of lighting makes it seem like the unknown is pleasant and not scary.
I love the way the path draws your eye all the way through the picture. An the flat angle and mediuim shot give us just enough perspective to see the path and the beautiful fall colors. And the composition is great with the path leading to a place we can't see, but can obviously journey to. It's kind of like life, where you can't always see the outcome, but you can find out if you finish the journey.
The picture of a fall path, with medium distance, leading llines going into the horizon. Since we cannot see the end of the path, I think that it means that we don't know where our path will lead.
The light shining through the canopy of the trees and the leading line of the path all draws my eyes into the picture and up to the sky. The dead leaves strewn on the path and the green leaves of the plants are kind of contradicting each other, signaling the definite end of summer.
